Dancinbears, there IS another novel out there with a GD backdrop and, if memory serves, was a sort of "road novel" concerning a pair of main characters following the Dead. It goes back a few years, mid-to-late '90's, I think and I'll be dawged if I can remember a title, author, or plotline. (My apologies on that...) There is, of course, a plethora of non-fiction Dead-related material out there. IMO, the best I can think of off-hand (beyond specific Dead-bios) would probably be some of the passages from Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

And I thought the only "Tiger in a Trance" was in "Saint of Circumstance." Interesting...

Well thanks for this help guys... if anyone remembers specific titles or authors, let me know. I'm going to try other sites and keep searching since I know there are books out there. I have read 'polaroids from the dead', and yes, one of the short stories focuses on Deadheads.
